Presentation:              Environmental Health in the Caribbean: Introduction to the Caribbean Environmental Health Institute

 

Christopher Cox, Ph.D. is from St. Lucia and is currently Program Director with the Caribbean Environmental Health Institute, the technical arm of the CARICOM Secretariat with responsibility for environmental health and environment management issues across the CARICOM Members States.  Dr. Cox is a land and water resources management specialist and currently works on integrated water resources management development initiatives in the Caribbean through CEHI.  Prior to working with CEHI he was employed with the St. Lucia Ministry of Agriculture where he contributed significantly to development of general environmental, land and water resource management policies, and led project interventions at the national level.  Dr. Cox holds PhD and MSc degrees from McGill University’s Bioresource Engineering Department with focus on integrated watershed master planning for St. Lucia.
