Dr. Robert Corrigan, president of RMC Pest Management Consulting, is a native of Brooklyn, New York and one of the country's most sought-after rodent management experts. Dr. Corrigan is the lead rodent consultant for the implementation of New York City's comprehensive rodent management plan as well as a consultant to several of the largest food handling and retail companies in the U.S.

 

Dr. Corrigan holds an AAS degree in pest control from the State University of New York at Farmingdale, a BS degree in urban and industrial entomology and a Masters and  Ph.D. degrees in rodent pest management from Purdue University.

 

Dr. Corrigan worked as an extension specialist, teacher, and researcher in Purdue's Entomology Department for 16 years in vertebrate pest management, with an emphasis on rodent control.  He has also worked as a pest control technician and technical specialist with Fumex Sanitation, Inc. and Terminix International.

 

Dr. Corrigan is author of Rodent Control: A Practical Guide for Pest Management Professionals, and co-author of several of the Purdue University pest control correspondence courses. He has published more than 100 technical articles focusing on structural pest and rodent control, and is a columnist for Pest Control Technology magazine.
