Tanner has published articles on foodborne outbreaks in which she was involved
in the investigations, and has taught food science and safety courses at local
community colleges and universities for many years.
Ms.
Tanner has been a NEHA member for over 20 years and a long time member of IAFP.
Ms.
Tanner’s graduate thesis involved various analyses of cross-connection events,
a topic of interest since her undergraduate school days and has continued to
research such events just for self-edification.
