Presentation:     How GPS Works

 

 

Mr. Troutman is currently an Environmental Health Scientist/GIS Specialist with the Bernalillo County Office of Environmental Health.  He holds a Bachelors Degree in Geography and a Masters Degree in Computer Information Systems.  He is a Registered Environmental Health Specialist and Registered Sanitarian with the National Environmental Health Association.

 

Mr. Troutman has worked at Bernalillo County Office of Environmental Health for five years.  During that time, he has developed the GPS data collection plan in support of County adopted plans.  His duties include data management and map production as well as provide guidance on technology acquisition.  He is also responsible for water and wastewater ordinance development and implementation. 

 

Mr. Troutman is a member in many GIS and environmental health professional organizations including the New Mexico Geographic Information Council and serving on the executive board of the New Mexico Environmental Health Association.
